Explore the story of Jinny Yu, a fish-turned-human? Is that even a real thing? Turn the pages and read!
I've included a few preview pages and spreads. If you would like to see the full copy, please inquire with me directly.
Fully developed novel should be ready by March of 2024.
What's Wrong with Jinny?
My final project for Comics, and my longest series of illustrations to date -
- a 32 page black and white graphic novel, set for gray tints and self-publishing in 2024.
- full bleed pages, panel explorations, fleshed-out character designs

2023

I made this 4-page comic for my Comics Midterm, based on an idea I have for a graphic novel that I will be finishing and releasing, hopefully by the end of 2023. This is a chapter within the story called "What's Wrong with Jinny?" which is the narrative of Jinny Yu, who curiously transformed from a fish into a human and is now adapting to daily life.
Please look forward to more upcoming comics!

October 2023, Ink Marker on Smooth Bristol, folded 8.5" x 11" pages
My Fibers: Comics Midterm, "Transforming Hysteria," is a hung piece best displayed in an installation space, all screen printed and detailing the transformation of a fish into a fish-man... or it can be interpreted in many different ways. This was my first real experience with screenprinting and fibers in general! Please look forward to my final project and recurring themes about fish and man.
October 2023, Screen printed (suede base, extender, ink/paint) on fabrics (muslin, cotton, felt, burlap, etc.), stitched together and hung on a dowel with twine.
